Born in Houston, Texas, on October 5, 1931, Melba was the beloved daughter of Walter R. Haas and Elsie Haas. She dedicated many years of her life to a career as a Sales Representative in the Oil and Gas industry, where her professionalism and dedication left a lasting impression.
Melba was a spirited and social person who loved driving to Houston to spend time with friends and go shopping. She had a zest for life and remained active and independent well into her 90s, an inspiration to those who knew her.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Russell Sisk, and daughter-in-law, Dail Sisk, who will forever cherish her memory.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with a committal service at 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
Melba's warmth, strength, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
