Melvin Lovings

Melvin Lovings 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 20, 2013. He was called home after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 8, 1926 to Morris and Emma Lovings in Round Top Texas. His mother and father preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Mary Louise Clark to this union one child was born Susan Smith shortly after she preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Bernice Melvia Mustin to this union five children were born Dr. Melivin J. Lovings (OKC, OK) , Dolla Jaynette Garcia (OKC, OK), Richard C. Lovings (Ft. Worth) , Charlotte Brazille (OKC, OK) and Reginald L. Lovings (OKC, OK). In 1966 Melvin married Ruby Lee Crump. April 2013 they celebrated 49 years of marriage. After moving to Houston, TX Melvin united with New Pleasant Grove were the Pastor was Rev. Dunn, where he remained faithful until his confinement to a wheelchair. Melvin Lovings retired from Blackwell Plastics in the 1990's as well as he was the best landscaper this side of Heaven. Melvin leaves to cherish his memory wife Ruby, of the home. His Children, Twenty-two (22) Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sister Ruby Jones, (Austin, TX) who adored her brother enjoyed a beautiful relationship. Brother Charles (Sonny) Lovings (Wichita, TX). Melvin sister Morseen and brother Lee also preceded him in death.
