Mervin Linear Heath was born September 14, 1966 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Miss Ardis Mary Heath and Mr. James Hall. Mervin was educated in the Caddo Parish School System where he later graduated from Green Oaks High School. Mervin moved to Houston, Texas in 1990, where he became employed by Security at the courthouse for 12 years. He later transferred to City Hall for another 12 years, where he remained until death. Mervin was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, 4210 Rosemary Lane. Mervin leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Miss Ardis Mary Heath; two sisters Sonja Marvette Wyatt (Fred), Shajuanda Petties (Larry); three brothers, Carlos Montez Heath (Carla), Michael Wayne Heath (Elizabeth), Ricco A. Heath (Tammie); five uncles, Bobby Ray, Earnest of Houston, Texas, Johnny Earl, John Carl and Bobby Joe of Shreveport, Louisiana; three aunts, Doris, Earnestine and Debora Ann of Houston; many friends Margaret and Edward Savannah of Shreveport, Louisiana a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers at City Hall.
