I am so sorry to hear about Michael's passing. He was such a helpful person and caring instructor. He loved to come to my office and tell the occasional Aggie joke. I respected his dedication to our students and willingness to help. He will be greatly missed.

How many hours have I spent in the faculty workroom at Spring Branch next to Mike? He would always turn and announce whatever news item he was reading that interested him, usually with a political slant. He watched every shuttle launch from those computers in the workroom and many more astronomical and meteorological events.

Just last Spring, he took on the task of personally tutoring a woman who was undergoing chemotherapy because he wanted to help her complete credit for his course. I touched base with him toward the end of the semester and he was confident she would do well in the course.

Such a generous soul, Mike was a fixture at HCC's Spring Branch campus. I will miss him.

Mike was the "consummate" mathematician (and sci-fi guy)!  Would see him at Katy and Spring Branch HCC NW campuses for many semesters.  I express my sincere sympathy and condolences to his wife and family!

Sincere sympathies to Michael's family.  We had many conversations about school and politics in the adjunct faculty workroom.  He worked hard and was knowledgeable about a wide variety of things.  I'll miss him.

I wish to extend my condolences to Michael's family. Although he and I didn't speak much we would say hello to each other as we passed in the corridors. He will be missed.

Dear Williamson Family,  

It is hard to imagine Houston Community College without Michael.  He always had something interesting to share, and he clearly cared deeply for his students.  He will be missed by all.  May all the good memories sustain you and keep you.

When Michael took ill, there was a student that approached me.  She told me that Michael was a good friend who tutored her in Math.  On a prior occasion, I saw this student searching for Michael.  Once she caught up with him, Michael sat down and began tutoring.  Michael's sincere concern for students was evident.  May Michael rest in peace.

Dear Williamson Family, 
Michael will be dearly missed at Houston Community College. Especially in our Physical Sciences Department. He always had a friendly story to tell of his travels and his stars. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Michael's family during this difficult time.  May God bless.

It was a pleasure knowing Michael. I always enjoyed visits with him at our family gatherings at Thanksgiving on many occasions. He was very kind and interesting to talk with. He will be missed. I rejoice that he is with Jesus now. Many prayers and blessings to your family! Romans 15:13
