To Diane; I’m Debbie Wrightson Tessier; daughter of William, Mel’s younger brother.  The last time I saw Michael was in 1979. I remember him talking about his diving and photography. He said he did some work for Jacque Cousto (ph) and National Geographic.  I thought he was so cool.  I’m glad to hear he married and had children.  I’ve been thinking of him often these last few months. So sorry to hear of his passing.  I will pray the Rosary in his memory.  Good bye to my cousin.

I am Timothy. 1st cousin to Michael. My father was William W. Wrightson, brother to Melvin. Son of Albert and Helen Wrightson of Baltimore, MD. I remember Michael well, as we had fine chats and I enjoyed his stories of becoming a diver. Yes, we met several times. Although, Texas was far from Baltimore. I will miss him. I have thought of him often over the years. 

I, Debbie, first met Mike in TASS in 1986 when we both signed up for Skipper Training.  Although Mike didn't seem like a typical TASSer, he soon fit right in, always ready for a good time and with a hearty laugh!
I, Steve, also remember the story that Jose told, when Mike fell in the water betwen the deck and dock at the Turtle Club.  Great guy, had lots of good sailing days together. 
Mike is missed and we will always have fond memories of him.  We send our thoughts and prayers to Diane, and Jenelle and Westley, as they move forward in this life without their husband and father.


Diane,     Marsha and I are sadden by Mike's passing. We are  remembering a distant past with you, Mike, Jenelle and Westley. It is unfortunate we didn't spend more time together. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.     As I was finding out about Mike a rush job landed on my workbench and it is due on Wednesday. I will not be able to attend the funeral. Michael was always an integral part of getting ready for the Clear Lake Christmas Boat Parade. He was so fun and friendly to everyone. He was a sweetheart with a little devilishness mixed in. 

Mikey was a great TASS member and a tremendous friend to so many.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Diane and his entire family during this difficult time.

Dear Diane,  It was always a comfort to me that someone as good as Mike was at home when our neighborhood street was so quiet.  I knew he could be a calming influence when I thought a disaster was about to happen (like no power in July.)

Mike, my dear friend may you rest in eternal peace.  Even though we havnt  spent much time together,  the times we did , your smile and your love for my dear cousin Diane and your beautiful children Janelle and Wesley  will always stay in my most cherished memories forevermore.  We lost a good man this week. I look forward to seeing you again my dear brother, may we share our sweetest memories of this life together in the after life.
Rest in peace knowing your loving wife and children will be taken care of because of your love and guidance.

I'm so sorry Mike is gone but fortunately no longer in pain.  I loved all the good times Mike, Diane, & I had at Wild West & also remember when Jen started going out to Wild West herself because she learned to love dancing like her Mom & Dad.  I am so greatful to have the opportunity to know Mike & his family.  Rest in Peace Mike.🙏😇🙏

My heart goes out to Diane, Jenelle, and Westley.  Mike always lived life to the fullest, and will be missed.   Mike was always a wonderful friend and a delight to be around.
