

Miguel C. Ysrael, 74, from Houston, Texas passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2015. He is preceded in death by his father, Miguel J. Ysrael, mother, Afdona Curie and his brothers Albert and William Ysrael. He is survived by brothers, Alfred and Simon Ysrael that reside in Guam, and sisters Adela Gruber (Gulf Breeze, FL) and Yvonne Ysrael (San Francisco, Ca), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Miguel was born in Manilla, Philippines on September 8, 1941. He graduated from LaSalle High School in Manilla. He received a bachelor of science in Chemical Engineering from Santo Tomas University, Manilla PI, and received a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M.
Miguel has been a resident of Houston since graduating from Texas A & M in 1965. He was employed by several petroleum chemical companies in Houston, where he designed and developed computer and engineering applications.
Earlier in life Mike enjoyed a competitive game of tennis or bowling and enjoyed dancing and social gatherings with friends.
He was totally committed to his friends and family; always doing for others; lending a helping hand, but less likely to accept support from others.
Miguel while in Guam caring for his brother Simon, became a 3-miler, enjoying his walks on the beach.
He loved playing cards and enjoyed trying his hand with lady luck, in Las Vegas, and Biloxi or anyplace that had games of chance.
A memorial service will be held at the Heights Funeral Home in Houston on Tuesday September 22rd at 6:00 pm.
