Mildred was born to Marvin Crofford and Emma Weidmyer, August 21, 1927, in Austonio, Texas. She graduated from Austonio High School in 1942. She married Elvis Eugene Chronister in 1945, and they lived together in Houston, Texas Together they raised Five children.
She is survived by her sister Marvice Brewton, children Don Chronister, (Melody), and Melissa Crow, (Andrew). She also leaves to cherish memory 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elvis Chronister, children Sherry Greenway, Charlotte Hake, Randy Chronister and great-grandson Bradley Bergeron.
Mildred worked as a Typing Pool Supervisor for Ernst & Young Accounting Firm for 25. She enjoyed Bowling and reading her Bible.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for July 9, 2022, at 12pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends begin at 11am. The family requests that donations be made to Texas Children Hospital at texaschildren.org.
