She is preceded in death by her husband and life long sweetheart of over 60 years, Gilbert Garcia Sr.
She is survived by her sons, Gilbert Garcia Jr. and wife, Joyce, and Robert Garcia,
sister, Margaret Guillen.
She is also survived by her grandsons - Christopher, Gilbert III, and Michael,
great grandchildren - Meagan, Ashley, and Mylee.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 5-8pm, Sunday, January 23, in the chapel at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, were a rosary will commence at 7pm.
A final viewing will be held on Monday, January 24,at Forest Park Lawndale at 9:00am. Following the final viewing, a Funeral Mass will begin at 10am at Holy Name Catholic Church, 1912 Marion, in Houston, with burial at Forest Park Cemetery.
