Minerva G. Sosa

Minerva is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe & Sista Gonzales. Her sister Margaret Garduno and brothers Julio Gonzales & Louis Gonzales.

Minerva is survived by her lifelong companion of more than 30 years Victor Sosa and her sisters Tomasa Echavarría & Esperanza Barelas.

Minerva was retired and enjoyed her life by spending time with her sisters at the Ripley House taking trips, shopping & visiting the casino’s. Although Minerva did not have children of her own she had numerous nieces and nephews who she loved spending time with.

Tia Minnie you will be dearly missed with your larger than life personality. Although unkind and dreadful disease called Dementia had taken her memory it never took all the love she had for us!!

A visitation for Minerva will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7539 Avenue K, Houston, TX 77012. A committal service will occur Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
