
Funeral services for Nancy Rhae Yantz, 90 of Paige, Texas, are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in the Grand Chapel, Forest Park Lawndale in Houston. Burial will follow in Forest Park Lawndale cemetery.
Nancy Rhae (Todaro) Yantz was born on December 14, 1931 to Joe and Wanda (Byrd) Todaro in Dallas County, Texas, the youngest of 2 children. On July 3, 1952, she married Harry John Yantz, Jr. Their marriage was blessed with six children. Nancy passed away on the evening of Saturday, December 25, 2021 at her home.
Nancy graduated from San Jacinto High School. She went to work after high school and her coworker introduced her to Harry, and the rest is history. They were married in 1952. After their first child Karon was born, Nancy became a full-time mother and homemaker. She often baby-sat other children in her home and adored each and every one of them dearly. Her love and dedication to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be held in their hearts forever. Nancy was a devoted catholic from a young age and was at mass every Sunday. She will be remembered for her faithfulness to God, her quick wit, and her love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Wanda Todaro; her step-father, Joe Santa Maria; her husband of 55 years, Harry John Yantz, Jr.; her brother and sister-in-law, Joe Todaro and wife, Evelyn; an infant daughter, Brenda Anne and infant grandson, Mitchell Lewis Corley.
She is survived by her daughter, Karon Witty; son, Eric Yantz and wife, Debbie; son, Kirk Yantz and wife, Renee; daughter, Brenda Hassebrock and husband, Dan; daughter, Lisa Corley and husband, Chuck; daughter, Anita Yantz and husband, Paul Dryer.
Her 9 grandchildren include: Kimberly Ann of Deer Park, Kristy Young and husband, Ellis of Pearland, Jason Yantz of Deer Park, Charles Corley of Atlanta Georgia, Hunter Hassebrock and wife, Mary Katherine of Houston, Ryan Yantz and wife, Ashley of Spring, Danielle Rech and husband, Alex of Spring, Ashley Yantz of Giddings and Matthew Corley of Atlanta, Georgia. 4 great-grandchildren include: Kyleigh Guidry of Deer Park, Kinsey Scaillet, Kaiden Scaillet and Bryce Young of Pearland.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Charles Corley, Hunter Hassebrock, Ryan Yantz, Alex Rech, Matthew Corley, and Jerry Black, Jr. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Jason Yantz.
