

Granny was born in St. Louis, Missouri, relocated to Houston, then to San Antonio, Texas.
She attended Sumner High School and graduated in 1951. She continued her education at Harris Stowe Teacher’s College.
Granny’s passion was music. She had such a beautiful voice and one of her favorite classical songs to sing was Ava Maria in Italian. On many occasions there were concerts held in the family kitchen. She sung for weddings, special events, and in the choir at Antioch Baptist Church in St. Louis, Missouri.
She worked for many years in government and in law enforcement.
Granny will be missed by her daughters Debra Rose-Ward (Donald), Karen Kimble, sisters Loretta Irving (Walter), Carol Littleton (George), grandchildren Adrienne Pearson (Sean), Gene Kimble; great grandchildren Tyler Pearson, Taylor Pearson, Trenton Pearson, and Savannah Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
