Ophelia M. De La Portilla, 97 passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016. She was born May 1, 1919 in Eagle Lake, Texas to Juan and Epifania Arteaga Martinez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank De La Portilla, Sr. she is survived by her son, Frank De La Portilla, Jr; daughters, Gloria Reyes and Martha Carbonaro and husband Salvatore; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30th from 5-9 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Services at 7 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 1st at 10 AM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
