Mrs. Patricia Lee Malone

Patricia was born May 24, 1953, in Houston, Texas to Mattie Jewel Young and John James Sr., both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up in Midway, Texas and attended Madisonville High School.

Patricia gave birth to her first-born child a daughter, Victoria James-Jackson on July 29, 1970.

She moved to Houston in 1973 and started a career in the medical field. She worked at Jefferson Davis Hospital and Ben Taub Hospital in the EKG department for a total of 40 years upon her retirement.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of the Fifth Ward Church of Christ for a number of years as well as Trinity Gardens Church of Christ.

In 1977 she met and married Antonio C. Malone Sr and to this union one son was born, Antonio C. Malone Jr.

She was the oldest sibling of 12 children with one sibling Kelton Holmes preceding her in death.

She loved spending time with family and friends. She had a deep love of traveling, reading and music.

Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memory, her two children, Victoria James-Jackson (Robert) and Antonio C. Malone Jr. (Corrine). She also leaves to cherish her memory three sisters and seven brothers, Claudette Young, Leatrice Young, Carolyn Young, John James Jr. (Breshella), Charles Young, Craig James, Edgar James, Ronald James, Dennis James (Elsa) and Charles James (Rhonda). Her memory will also be cherished by her 4 grandchildren Jermaine, Nicholas, Ryan, and Antonio III along with one great grandchild Zion.

Her aunt Evelyn Leonard (James) and uncle Howard James (Linda) will deeply miss her as well along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
