

Patsy was born to Charlie John Reinhardt and Ethel Lucille Jinks Reinhardt, October 29, 1933, in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Reagan High School and married Donald Allan DeLany, her high school sweetheart, September 22, 1956. They lived happily together in Houston for 66 years where they raised four children. She worked as a receptionist at Mobil Oil before starting a family and becoming a full-time Mom.
She is survived by her adoring husband Donald, and children Roland DeLany, Cheryl DeLany, Sharon DeLany Roper and husband Steve Roper, Sheri DeLany Pitcher and husband Fred Pitcher; grandchildren Brandon, Justin, Ashley, Colton, Amanda, Cameron, Brittany, Taylor, Karli, and eight great-grandchildren, and her sister, Joyce Soirez.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Liz Reinhardt Russell and brother Charles Reinhardt.
Patsy’s home was the place to be for the holidays and the home to many Sunday afternoon suppers. She enjoyed cooking for her family, raising her children, and grandchildren. Patsy and her husband enjoyed their hometown teams and were devout fans of the Houston Rockets, Astros, and especially the Houston Texans and Oilers. For many years, they had season tickets to the Houston Oilers and were huge Luv Ya Blue fans. She will be forever remembered as a cornerstone of her family, an incredible cook, and for her sass, quick wit, and her ability to take incredible care of those around her.
A visitation for Patsy will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A committal service will occur Friday, October 28, 2022 at 12:00 PM.
