Patricia Jean White (Wallace) was born in Joplin, Missouri on July 18, 1933. She went home to be with The Lord at 91 years of age on December 24, 2024, at her home in Magnolia, Texas surrounded by her family.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, James I. Wallace and Lillian P. Wallace (Najvar), her beloved husband of 69 years, William Max White, her son William Lee White, her daughter Cindy Jean Bridges (White), her brother Dick Wallace, and her brother-in-law Jack Reed.
Patricia Jean is survived by daughter Patricia Ann Weatherly (White) and husband Bobby J. Weatherly of Magnolia, Texas, her daughter-in-law Bonnie White of Cypress, Texas, her son-in-law Wilburn Bridges of Houston, Texas, her brother JI Wallace and wife Paula Wallace of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and her sister Jackie Reed of Westport, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as, “Nenaw”; Felicia (Weatherly) Montgomery and husband Mike Montgomery, Adriane (Bridges) Croft and husband Ryan Croft, Joey Weatherly and wife Jayme Weatherly, Alex White and wife Cheryl White, Nicholas White and wife Sarah White, Taylor (Bridges) Cochran and husband Jody Cochran, and Bill White, Jr. and wife Hannah White.

Known to family and friends as, “Patsy”, she attended San Jacinto High School where she was captain of the volleyball team and loved swimming. Patsy spent her younger years growing up in the Heights area of Houston. Since she was gifted with creativity, you’d often find her sewing or whipping up a batch of her (should have been) world-famous waffles and kolaches!
Patsy was a lovingly devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, fellow church member, friend, and neighbor. In every season of her life, she was a Godly woman who loved The Lord with all her heart. Since she loved sharing her knowledge of The Lord with others, she was proud to serve as a Sunday School Teacher and Missionettes Leader for many years. One of her last-mentioned desires was to read scripture and pray over all her children.
When asked to describe Patsy, all those who love her most and knew her best would agree that she was dependable, thoughtful, and a great caretaker. While she did have a stubborn streak from time to time, she was always a loving leader to her family. More than anything, she loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
While we all miss her greatly and grieve the loss of her presence here on earth, it is an honor to celebrate a beautiful legacy of faith in Jesus. We rejoice in knowing that our Nenaw is reunited with her Savior and those who have gone before!
She will be laid to rest beside her sweetheart, our Pepaw, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery in Houston.
