Paul Beverly Butts

Paul was preceded in death by a son, Michael Butts, and a daughter, Susan Butts. He is survived by his son, Gary Paul Butts and wife Sue, and a step-son, Bob Hatcher. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Sheri Cubbage, Beverly Hudson, Shantelle Gunn, Thad Anderson, John and Sean; a step-grandson, Jim David Hatcher; eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army in World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a Brick Mason with membership in the BAC Local Union #7, and until recently, he was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2427 in Tomball, Texas.

Family and friends will gather for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2014 in Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine in Houston, where military Honors will be provided by the V.F.W. Post #2427 Chaplain, Steve Allison and the Post Honor Guard.
