Raymond G. Melchor , 75, passed away on 12/6/2013, in Houston, Texas. He was born 12/16/1937 in Waelder, Texas, to Agustin and Juanita Gutierrez Melchor. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Katherine Rincon Melchor; daughter Esther Flores and her husband Edmundo; sons: Ray Melchor and wife Kim, Richard Melchor, Rodney Melchor and wife Stephanie, and Roland Melchor. He leaves to cherish his memories: 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and extended family and friends. Ray also leaves behind his sisters, Dora McLendon, Rosemary Mascarenhas, and Margie Melchor; brothers Agustin, Jr., Carlos, Joe, and Ernest Melchor, and many caring and loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday 12/11/2013 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale. Service Thursday, 12/12 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church.
