Becky was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa on March 12, 1912 and spent her childhood there. She attended Iowa Wesleyan and graduated in 1939. Upon graduation, she worked as the hospital librarian at Des Moines Hospital library system where she met and married Charles David Kron on September 5, 1942. In the following years she worked in Public Libraries in various
cities following her husband who was a hospital administrator. Her last placement was in Wooster, Ohio until retirement in 1976.
She was an accomplished cook, artist, creator of clothes, quilts and all things making life more comfortable and enjoyable.
Becky lived in Los Angeles, California and Tucson, Arizona before coming to Houston in 1990. She is survived by a niece, two great nephews, three great nieces and many good and faithful friends. Preceding her in death was her mother, father and three sisters.
In keeping with Becky's wishes, please do no not send flowers or food, keeping her in your heart is all we ask. At a later date, a private memorial service will be held.
