All my life... Most often when I was younger, I had recurring nightmares about loosing her. God as my witness, it's true. A bit morbid, but true nonetheless.   The redundant night-terror  was my home catching fire and how I would rescue my stuffed animals and "collectibles," as I called them.... , but the nightmares of loosing Her-> My idol, my greatest fan, my greatest comfort and redemption apart from God himself... Everything I dreamed of becoming....the thought of her being buried and no longer feeling her hands hold mine, or witnessing that ever present spark in her eyes... The way she kicked and flailed her legs when she got herself and those around her laughing hysterically at one of her stories she told brilliantly... I cried countless times  to her of how I couldn't bare the thought of life without her....
As I've grown, those dreams have dissipated with reality being the obvious replacement...
It would be insulting to all of you, my family, myself, and her if I claimed this loss wasn't excruciating..far beyond that..... However; I now realize that I'm crying for myself, and for  those still on this earth,--> who must adjust to living without her physical presence.I would give anything to be more like her, but as Barry says, " She was one of a kind." And there is no one who can argue with that.... I just wish I could feel her kiss one last time.... I may be young, but I do know, from experience, that when someone is worthy of being missed.... my grandma is the module.... Again, thank you so very much Peggy for being so kind and helpful to us; during, and after her passing. You have been the greatest blessing. You are as much as family as I could ever imagine.

I would like to speak on behalf of my family we loved her so much and she was such a sweet person to be in this world. I'd also just recognize that her friends and family and the people that were around her were likewise affected and how important she was to us all.

Wanted to post on behalf of my family, including my uncle Barry, mother Karla, father David, and brother Jeffrey. Ever since I can remember, my grandmother has been my everything. She was what every grandchild would dream of in a grandparent.... so so much more. Its impossible to express the amount of truly, unconditional love, encouragement, wisdom, and humor that only the brightest of people could elicit. While I'll miss holding her hand, hearing her call out "Sweetpea," and laughing with her till we were both weeping and kicking our feet..countless other memories; I know she loved the Lord fervently, and I'm so happy that she is no longer in a state of distress. I'll miss her terribly for the rest of my life, but find peace knowing I'll see her again one day. Until then, I'll inevitably feel a huge part of my heart is missing as I'm sure all who have known her will. Thanks to all other family and friends for their support.... I love you Grandma. xoxo

Karla, I don't know whether you remember me or not, but we went to Pershing together and your mom did my moms hair for so long and took art lessons from my mom. Rebecca was always a unique person and my mother and she were made of the same cloth, artsy, colorful and unique. I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost mom in 2001. My thoughts are with you.
