

Rev. Earl Evans Jackson was born on November 12, 1952 in Houston, texas to the late Evans and Earline Jackson. He attended Bruce Elementary, E. O. Smith Junior, High and Phillis Wheatley High School. On July 17, 2005 he married to his high school sweetheart, Ms. Barbara Watkins-Montgomery. No children were born to this union but they shared two beautiful children; his daughter Tranita Carroll and her son Erik Kareem Montgomery. Rev. Jackson was an insurance agent until his health began to fail him. Earl enjoyed going out to dinner, the movies, dancing, but most of all preaching the word of God. He also enjoyed spending time with with his family and friends. His favorite saying was "Just Pray", regardless of the situation. Growing up in a Christian home he would join the First Shilo Baptist Church at an early age, along with his family. He would later join the First New Mt. Calvary Church under the leadership of Pastor Charleston Williams. While serving and attending there, he heard God's call to the preaching ministry; preaching his first sermon in 2003. Rev. Jackson's dedication to that church allowed him to be elevated to the position of Asst. Pastor. In 2009, Earl and Barbara would move to Spring, Texas and would eventually join the Spring Antioch Baptist Church, where Rev Eric Wilson, Sr. is the pastor. Rev. Jackson leaves to mourn his passing his wife Barbara, children Tranita and Erik, grand children Chelsea Lynn Montgomery and Erik, Jr; one God son and favorite nephew Russell Prince Cole (RJ), four sisters, Rechellia Walker (Larry), Elnita Fisher, Elvita Jackson, Cynthia Jackson; four brothers, Micheal Jackson, Rev. Maurice Jackson (Denise), Tyrone Jackson (Janet), and Eugene Jackson ( ).
