Robert Damian Contreras,(Bobby) was born March 28, 1943 to Bernard and Adeline Contreras of Houston,Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Robert loved the Lord and was full of life. Robert loved his family and gave so much to each and every person he met. He was 78 years young. Robert Contreras served in the army reserve for 6 years, he served as a Houston police officer for 20 years and a tax accountant until his passing.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Contreras, his children Mark and Lisa Contreras, Aaron and Cassie Martinez, Marlo and Jose Longoria and seven grandchildren. He has also survived by his siblings: Roland and Norma Contreras, Bernard and Dolly Contreras, Richard and Ernestine Contreras, Michael and Marabelle Contreras and Diana Contreras. A public memorial service will be held, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, 10AM at First United Methodist Church, 1229 Milam St. Columbus, Texas 78934.
