Rocky Don Grudier, 70, of Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and hard work. Born on August 25, 1954, in Port Arthur, Texas, Rocky was a proud Texan through and through.
A dedicated businessman, Rocky worked for and operated his family’s air conditioning company for over 40 years, building not only a business but lasting relationships with customers and friends. Later in life, he brought his work ethic and warmth to Home Depot, where he continued to serve his community with a helpful hand and a kind smile.
In the 1970s, Rocky lived out a different kind of dream—as a member of a rock band, he filled the air with music and memories. He had a deep love for classic cars and spent many hours in his garage restoring and admiring them. Another of his passions was woodworking—whether crafting something useful or beautiful, Rocky found joy in working with his hands and creating things that lasted.
Rocky’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Lei Loni Grudier, and his children: Barbara Carol Garrison, Rocky Michael Grudier, Amy Michelle Bartlett, and Marcus Don Grudier. He was a devoted grandfather to James Terry, Jamee Terry, Jennifer Terry, Natalie Miller, Seth Miller, Mackenzie Stumpf, and Joshua Shedlock in addition to multiple great grandchildren whose lives he brightened with his presence.
He is also survived by his mother, Jane Grudier, and his siblings: Cindy Perryman, Larry Grudier, Lisa Grudier, and Marilyn Peluso. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Grudier.
Rocky’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His kindness, sense of humor, and strength will never be forgotten.
