I remember Roland from All Souls. He was funny, kind-hearted, and a gentle soul.  My condolences to your family.  He is carried in our hearts and memories. God bless you all.

Wow.  Tonight, Roland's classmates from the Catholic grade school he attended in Southern California just learned of his passing.  We are heartbroken over the loss of our friend.  Roland came to our class in about the third grade.  He was the tallest kid and I immediately liked him because like me, he wore glasses.  He developed a reputation for being kind-hearted, easy-going, and a friend to everybody.  He was an excellent athlete and played quarterback for our school's flag football team.  I used to trade lunches with Roland almost every day.  I loved his mom's burritos.  And he liked my mom's sandwiches.  It saddens me greatly that we lost touch in adulthood.  I always thought of Roland as a genuinely, kind and loving soul, who would do anything for a friend.  My condolences to his wife and children.  I pray that he rests in eternal peace.

To the Rosales family....I have just found out about Roland's passing. I went to All Souls with Roland. He was a sweet and kind friend to all of us. I am very sorry to hear of his passing....please know that he will always be our brother and will continue praying for his family.  
God has 2 of our brothers in heaven now.
