Ronald Richard Watkins, born November 18, 1943, left this earthly home for his heavenly home on November 27, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marylyn; his son, Ronald Jr., wife Rebecca, and their son Benjamin; his son, Lawrence, wife Gladys and their daughter, Arya; and several nieces and nephews. Born and raised in the Houston area, Ronald retired from Texaco in 1999, after working 33 years in the Information Technology Department. He also served as a Reserve Deputy with the Harris County Sheriff's Department for nearly two decades. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 7, 2015,11:00 am at the Hankamer Chapel, Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Drive, Houston, Texas 77057.
