Rosalinda Reyes

Born on October 24, 1961, in Houston, TX, Rosalinda was the beloved daughter of Juan Antonio Acevedo and Mary Helen Saenz. She spent many years working as a florist, where her creativity and passion for beauty shined through in every arrangement she crafted.

Rosalinda will be remembered for her kind heart, artistic spirit, and unwavering love for her family. More than anything, she lived her dream of being a mother — a role she cherished deeply and fulfilled with endless love and devotion. She found joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren and was always ready to offer a helping hand to those in need.

She is survived by her children, Juan Carlos Reyes, Mario Reyes, and Laura Reyes; and her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Reyes, Helena Moreno, and Juan Carlos Reyes Jr. She is also survived by her brothers, John Acevedo, Anthony Acevedo and his wife Roxanne Acevedo, and Albert Acevedo.

A funeral service to honor Rosalinda’s life will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston.

Burial will take place the following morning, Friday, April 4, 2025, at 9:00 AM, also at Forest Park Lawndale. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
