Rosario Madrigal Sanchez

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Rosario Madrigal Sanchez, who departed from this world on May 9, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength. Rosario was born in Houston, Texas to Luis Rodriguez Madrigal & Teresa Delgado Madrigal. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Rosario lived her life with a contagious warmth and a radiant smile that lit up the lives of all who knew her.

She married the love of her life, Adalberto Sanchez. Together, they created a beautiful life for their family. Rosario and her husband loved watching General Hospital, she loved gardening, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Together they raised 3 amazing children. Rosario was a strong woman who faced challenges with grace and resilience throughout her life. She was the center of our family, the beacon of hope & love that we all gravitated toward. Rosario's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Rosario's loving family includes her husband, Adalberto Sanchez, daughter Maria Estela Rodriguez and her husband Johnny Rodriguez; son Adalberto Sanchez, Jr. and his wife Patty Sanchez; son (Johnny) Juan Javier Sanchez and his wife Christina Sanchez; 7 grandchildren she adored: Adalberto, Adrian, Christian, Aaron, Zian, Evan, Zoe, and 1 great-grandchild Rito Rae. She was also cherished by many extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luis Rodriguez Madrigal & Maria Teresa Delgado Madrigal; sister, Lucille Madrigal, and brothers Francisco & Ricardo Madrigal.

Rosario will forever remain a shining example of love, strength, and grace. May her spirit continue to inspire and comfort us as we carry her love with us always. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Rosario will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 24, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3006 Kashmere St, Houston, TX 77026. A committal service will occur Friday, May 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
