Rose Marie Clifton, born on April 23, 1933, passed away peacefully at her home in Willis, Texas, on December 14, 2025, at the age of 92. Rose was the beloved daughter of the late Garnett E. Frazier and Sadie O. Frazier.
Rose was adored by her family and friends and was known by many affectionate titles, including Mother, Granny, GiGi, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She enriched the lives of those around her with unwavering warmth and love.
Prior to her illness, Rose found happiness in cooking and shopping—activities that brought her joy and created cherished moments with her loved ones. Above all, she found deep fulfillment in her work, which remained a prominent aspect of her life throughout the years.
Rose devoted nearly four decades to working as a waitress, a testament to her strong work ethic and commitment. Later in life, she served as a Special Needs Attendant on a school bus for Cy-Fair Independent School District for 15 years, retiring in 2009. Her dedication during this time was remarkable—she missed only one day of work, and that was to attend a funeral.
Rose especially treasured her time with the children on her bus route. She was recognized for her generosity, particularly during the holidays, when she would fill her car with gifts for each child, ensuring that every occasion was memorable for them.
Rose is preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin Clifton; parents, Sadie O. Frazier and Garnett E. Frazier; and siblings, JoAnn Taylor, Thelma Campbell, and Barbara Swearingen.
