Roy was born to Rojelio Alaniz and Irene Garza, April,1,1969, in Houston, Texas. He attended Willowridge High school. He married Renee Martinez in 1993, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised three children.
Roy is survived by: Rojelio Alaniz (Father), Irene Garza (Mother), Siblings; Michael Alaniz (Nydia Alaniz), Children; Roy Alaniz Jr , Aaron Alaniz, Megan Alaniz, Dina Owens (Fiancé). He also leaves to cherish his memory Nephews, Michael Alaniz Jr., Nicholas Alaniz, Anthony Alaniz, Edward Reyes, and many other relatives and friends.
Roy was preceded in death by Guadalupe Moreno, (Grandmother), Juan Marcelino Moreno, (Grandfather), Sara Sanchez, (Grandmother), Gus Sanchez, (Grandfather), Hildebrando C. Garza (Step Father).
Roy worked as a Truck Driver for Houston Distributing Company for three years and for Palletized Trucking for twelve years. He enjoyed Sports and Spending time with his children and family.
