

Our beloved father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle and friend, Roy Felix Jasso was born on November 20, 1942 in Houston, Texas to Louis G. Jasso and Herlinda Casas Jasso. Roy was lifted into heaven on November 12, 2016 at the age of 73. Roy attended the University of Houston and became a Structural Engineer. A local achievement of his was the designing of two Houston bridges, the Navigation Bridge and the Astroworld crossover bridge over Loop 610. Roy was a very generous and hardworking man who loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed spending his early years outdoors with a passion for hunting, camping, fishing, golfing and listening to his Country & Western Music. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Frances Lopez Jasso and his son Ernest Buzo. He is survived by his loving family, daughter Patricia Ann Diaz and husband Ruben; son Raul H. Jasso; daughter Sandra M. Medina and husband Ricardo; son Steven E. Jasso and Rosalie Hewitt; his grandchildren, Thomas R. Diaz and wife Erica; Melanie M. Barkemeyer and husband Blanton; R. Adrian Medina; Larissa M. Medina; Stephanie K. Jasso; Christopher A. Jasso; Dominic L. Buzo; Ruth Jessica Castillo and Leslie Rodriguez; his great-grandsons, Garrison Lee Barkemeyer, Gatlin Reese Barkemeyer and Robert Dean Diaz; his brothers Louis Jasso, Victor Jasso and Andrew Jasso; and his brother-in-laws, Manuel Lopez and Anthony Lopez and wife Belia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and close friends. Dad we love you and will miss you!
A Memorial service will take place on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10:00AM at the Chapel of Angels at Forest Park Lawndale.
