Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, John Halston Ghutzman, in 1987. She is survived by her Houston family: son, Gerald W. “Butch” Ghutzman & wife Barbara; grandsons, Phillip Ghutzman & wife Christina, Stephen Ghutzman & wife Katie, and Michael Ghutzman; great-grandchildren, Phillip Ghutzman, Jr., Peyton Ghutzman, and Madison Ghutzman.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 11 AM in the chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment services will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at Houston National Cemetery, at 9 AM.
