Russell Whitmarsh, Jr., age 66, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Born in Houston, Texas, he graduated from Aldine High School and The University of Houston. He retired from Fluor after 36 years as Senior Designer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Gertrude Whitmarsh. Survived by his wife of 25 years, Diane Whitmarsh; daughters, Vanessa Whitmarsh and Joanna Whitmarsh; step-son, Dustin Luepker and wife Annie; granddaughter, Camden Luepker; grandson, Cole Luepker; sister, Linda Whitmarsh Charrier and husband Tommie; niece Rhonda Erwin and husband Stan; and nephew, Michael Douglas Smith. Celebration of Life Gathering will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. Inurnment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
