Ruth Ann was born February 14, 1937 in Muncie, Indiana.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Earnest Sr. and Alta Fouts, brothers Earnest and Edward Fouts, sister Mary Jo McLaughlin, husband Albert Burk, son James Burk, and great grand daughter Krista Hinnant.
She is survived by her two sons, John and Jerry Burk, grand daughters Jennifer Hinnant, Jessica Turnage, and Julie Burk, grandsons Joe and Justin Burk and two great grand daughters, Bethany Hinnant and Janis Turnage, and sister, Carole Marks.
She never turned down an opportunity to enjoy life in every way possible.
She will be greatly missed and remembered by many as lively and spunky, and always “ready to go.” She was a great mom, wife, sister, and ma’am-ma.
