I am fortunate to have shared many moments with Sally and her family over the years.  She was vivacious and funny, quick to laugh, and wicked smart.  I loved her mischievous smile.  I remember the first time I met her (1994) , the last time we talked, and all the holidays, birthday parties, weddings, concerts and crises in between.
Time and circumstances separated us over the years but we managed a reunion in 2015 to see a Leonard Cohen concert in Austin.  We stayed up all night talking and laughing and drinking champagne.  It was magical.  As if we had seen each other the day before.  It is one of my fondest memories.
Deepest condolences to Ernie, Stevie, Matt, Carla, Gaby and all the family.

Sally was the first person to welcome me when I transferred to HRH.  We became friends & had a lot of fun after hours during the early years.  She was book smart, kind & always helpful.  When we talked about family, Sally’s eyes would light up for her beloved Gabby.   My sincere condolences to the entire family.  RIP my friend.

I only worked with Sally for a few years, but her smile lit up any room and I valued her friendship and kindness.   May you Rest In Peace, sweet Sally.  



Ms Sally Sears was one of a kind woman when I first met her at Hyatt Regency. She was so kind, and very high spirited.  Sally will be greatly miss but her smile and kind heart will live forever.  Prayers to Sally's family and may God give them faith, strength during this time.

I shared what seems like a lifetime with Sally at Hyatt Regency Houston.  She always brought a sense of peace and joy to our days.
I will always remember her beautiful smile .

Sally has given me so much, many good memories as a co-worker at the Hyatt Regency Houston for over twenty five years, as her tenant in her cute Heights bungalow for ten years, and as a friend.   I will miss the very sweet person she is, her laugh and kindness. My prayers to Ernie, Matthew, Stephanie, Peter, Melanie, and all family friends. God Bless and Rest In Peace ✝️
