Sally R. Trevino , 91, of Pasadena, Texas went home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2013. She passed away peacefully in her home. Born in 1922 in Waco, Texas, Sally was a woman devoted to her husband of 65 years, Bennie, and proud mother to children Carlos and wife Maria Trevino, and daughter Cynthia and the late John Silva. Sally was a loving grandmother to grandchildren Melissa Silva, Sam Silva, Reynaldo Trevino and Imelda, Roberto Trevino and Gina, and Monica Silva, and proud great-grandmother to great-grandchildren Nicholas Trevino, Sergio Trevino, Mateo Trevino and Giuliana Trevino.
Sally was a long time member of Forest Oaks Baptist Church in Houston. She loved being a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and great-grandma. She was a fantastic cook, and nothing made her happier than preparing a meal for her family or spending time with close friends. Visitation for Sally Trevino will be held on Monday, July 1, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral home. Funeral services and interment will be on Tuesday, July 2, at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale.
