Sandra Agnes Pevehouse Stampp

Sandra was born in Houston, the middle child of Douglas Brown Pevehouse Sr, and Florence Agnes Pevehouse. She grew up in the Heights and graduated from Reagan Highs School in 1959. She married shortly after graduation, and began her family, raising her children in Bellaire, TX. She moved back to The Heights in 2000.

Sandra worked at JC Penney at Meyerland in the Accounting Department from 1970 – 2000.

Sandra’s greatest joy was being with family. She loved her three children deeply, and her grandson was the light of her life. She loved camping on the beach, decoration for Christmas, going to The State Fair of Texas, Mexican food, and a good margarita!

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, sister Priscilla Pevehouse Keeton, and her daughter-in-law, Michelle Hughes. She is survived by her brother Doug Pevehouse (Debbie), son Robert Stampp (Cindy), daughter Susan Stamp, son William Stampp, grandson Ryan Stampp (Cassidy), three great-grandchildren, Brylynn, Brayden, and Bryson Stampp, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at The Heights Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 4th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale on Thursday, December 5th at 11:00 AM.
