Santiago “Chaguito” Berrones of Raymondville, TX, born November 27, 1925, has been called by the lord at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Isabel Berrones; his sons Gilberto, Arturo, Santiago and Carlos; and his daughters Antonia, Alejandra and Teresita. As well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and family. He predeceased by his late daughter Alejandra. Chaguito will be dearly missed, but is leaving behind many cherished memories. Services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale on Wednesday (12/26) from 5-9pm and the funeral will begin immediately at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church on 7250 Harrisburg.

his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much!
