Sara Ellen Bryan Duncan

Sara Ellen Bryan Duncan, born October 4, 1950 to Mr. & Mrs. Guy Vance Bryan, of the Houston Heights entered into heaven December 31, 2013. She was a devoted and loving mother to the late Mark Landon Duncan and Wendy Duncan Mennick, of Austin. She is survived by her loving husband, Herbert L. Duncan and daughters Judy, husband Gene Allen of Victoria; Rene, husband Jimmy Mitchell of Austin; brothers Allen Joyce, wife Nancy, of Florida; Bill Bryan, wife Linda; sisters Anne Newman, husband Bobby; Sue Barnard, of St. Thomas. A host of loving grand and great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many other cherished family members simply too numerous to name. She enjoyed a host of life time friends and co-workers, most recent at Hale Mills Construction Company where she was happily employed.

Sara was blessed with many talents but above all was her capacity to love and give of herself daily. She will be missed mightily and the cherished and precious memories she leaves each one of us who knew and loved her are etched in our hearts and minds forever.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77008, on January 11, 2014, at 2:00 PM. Gathering to follow in the Waltrip Room, 3-5 PM.
