Shirley T. McCarty Ferguson, born May 29, 1936 in Brookshire, TX. Born to Lillie Mae Story McCarty Glazier and Lawrence George McCarty Sr. Attended Eighth Ave Elementary School, Harper Middle School, and a proud graduate from Booker T. Washington High School. Graduated from Houston Community College LVN nursing program in 1952. Worked at Lockwood Hospital 2 years and Jefferson Davis Hospital for over 35 years helping to delivering over 20,000 births to the Houston Harris County. Married on November 11, 1955 to Allison Aurel Joe Clinton Ferguson by Rev. W.E. Walker, to this union 6 children were born Louis Allison, Rita Michelle, Diane Gail, Deadra Lynn, Kevin Aurel Sr. Undra Joemail Ferguson. Shirley T. McCarty Ferguson leaves to mourn her passing and beautiful memories her Only daughter Rita Michelle Ferguson and the other daughter Sherry Lynn Ledbetter, two sons Louis Allison and Undra Joemail Ferguson and one daughter -in -law Sylvia L Ferguson Stoneham all of Houston Tx, and Sister Marilyn Con Chita Glazier of Los Angeles Ca.Two granddaughters Summer T.
