Stephen G. Marty, born on January 31, 1957, passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 68. A resident of Caldwell, Texas, Stephen was known for his beloved, humorous, and resilient nature.

Stephen's early education was in the Special Education program at Beaumont Independent School District, attending Lucas Elementary and South Park Junior High. He later transferred to Alvin High School in Alvin, Texas, where he graduated from the Special Needs high school program.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Gwen Daum; father, AB Marty, Jr.; sister, Andrea Marty; and aunts, Karen and Velma. He is survived by his brother, Kent, and sister-in-law, Joann Marty; step-sister, Margaret Geater; and cousins, Mark and Kurt Andreason.

Stephen had a passion for the Special Olympics, where he excelled in swimming and pitching softball, earning numerous awards and medals.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for all who have loved and cared for Stephen over the years.
