

Born on October 11, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, Steve lived a life marked by creativity, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the arts. He attended Pilgrim Lutheran School, graduated from Westbury High School, and earned a degree in Architecture from Texas A&M University. He worked as an architect for several years before pursuing his passions for art, photography, and music, including becoming co-owner of Heights Guitar Tech.
Steve’s creativity was only exceeded by his love and compassion for people. He quietly helped many throughout his life and formed deep, lasting connections with those around him. He was also a dedicated patron of the arts, supporting local artists and musicians.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Boriack and his sister-in-law Denise Boriack. He is survived by his father, Curtis Boriack; his brothers and their spouses, Mike and Donna Boriack, and Tom and Tammy Boriack; along with eight nieces and nephews and countless friends who became like family.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the many friends who cared for Steve during his illness.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 8, 2026 at Heights Funeral Home from 5-8 PM.
