Susan Shaw

Susan Harris Shaw, 65 of Cypress, Texas passed away at her home on Sunday, January 19, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 18, 1954 in Houston, Texas to Raymond Lee and Pauline Dorothy (Yorek) Harris. Susan was a loving, caring person who would help others anytime they were in need. She just enjoyed people and she also enjoyed being near the water, whether it was a pool or the beach she also loved going fishing to Port Isabell and Port Mansfield with her family and. She was a teacher’s aide for CYFAIR School District before retiring.

Susan is survived by her husband of 46 years, James H. Shaw, II; children, Amanda Elaine and Justin Lee Shaw; grandson, Trenton Lee Carpenter; sisters, Charlotte Harris Brautigam and Judy Harris Schatte.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home with burial following at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Brautigam, Corey Lucas, Gary Podraza, Alan Podraza, Colton Podraza and Tad St. John.
