Sylvia Garza, age 66 passed away on Friday October 25, 2019. Sylvia was born June 29, 1953 in Brownfield, Texas. Sylvia is survived by her husband, Ramiro Garza; daughter Veronica Garza and her husband Anthony Galan; and son Alexander Garza and his wife Andrea; sister Dianna Lopez, brothers; Enrique Lopez and Ernesto Lopez; grandchildren, Isaiah Garza-Galan, Anaya Garza-Galan, Aiden Garza-Galan, Evan Garza-Galan and James Garza. Sylvia was preceded in death by; brother Daniel Lopez.

A visitation for Sylvia will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM later that evening. A funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Magum Rd., Houston, Texas 77092. Interment Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
