

Theresa Bohack Urban passed away peacefully on October 25, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Theresa was born on July 23, 1933, in Plantersville Texas to Mike and Agnes Bohack. Her family relocated to Houston Texas where Theresa attended local schools ultimately graduating from Jefferson Davis High School as class Valedictorian in 1951. After graduation Theresa began a long career in business that lasted until her retirement from Georgia Gulf Corporation in 1997. Theresa married Harold A. Urban on January 30, 1955, and they enjoyed 49 years of marriage until Harold's passing in 2004. Theresa was active in St. Ambrose Church where she was a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Theresa enjoyed quiet evenings watching her favorite television programs on PBS and many weekends spent with family and friends at her country home in Waller County Texas.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband Harold; daughters-in-law, Catharine Urban and Molly Urban.
Theresa is survived by her children Gary Urban, Mark Urban, Bruce Urban wife Maureen, and Glenn Urban wife Linda. In addition, Theresa is survived by her grandchildren who brought her much pride and joy; Janice Urban, Jennifer Urban Rodriguez husband Hector, Jeffrey Urban wife Lindsey, Matt Sudduth wife Debra, Jennifer King, Kristin Urban, Justin Eilers wife Mary (Liz), Sean Suhor wife Samantha, Dylan Suhor his partner Sara Caraker and seven great-grandchildren; sisters Alice Lagucki of New Orleans, Louisiana and Irene Smith of Cypress, Texas and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
Theresa's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Village on The Park Steeplechase who provided their mother a warm, loving, and nurturing environment.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston Texas 77060. Funeral service and burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Resthaven Cemetery. Reception to follow at Resthaven Funeral Home.
In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Theresa's memory to the Charity of one's choice.
