Tinh Thi Tran (Baptized Maria Tinh Thi Tran) was born on August 4, 1943 at Le Bao village, Thai Binh City, Vietnam. She and her family migrated to Da Nang in 1954. She attended Thanh Tam Academy and was the Akela of the Le Bao Tinh Chapter. She attended the Trai Truong Tung Nguyen Scout Conference of 1963 in Dalat. She taught at Le Bao Tinh Academy until 1964. She married Mr. Nghi Van Ta (aka Dung Ly Huong) and moved to her husband's residence at Blao Lam Dong. She and her family returned to Saigon in 1975, and finally, to the United Stated in 2010 to reunite with the rest of her family. Tinh Thi Tran passed away on April 11, 2015 at 10:15 p.m.. She was 71 years old. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, brothers and sister.
