

On February 2, 1937 in Houston, Texas Tommy Lee Seals was born to the parents of John and Virginia Seals. He was his father's only child and his mother's eldest. At a young age he confessed Christ and was baptized at St Mary's Missionary Baptist Church in the West End area of Houston. He attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. He was married twice and from those marriages he had three children. One son, Michael Reginald Seals and two daughters, Sabrina Ann Seals-Hill and Sharon Lynette Seals-Wallace. As a young man Tommy worked for Oak Farms and Southwest Steel. He later went to work for Southern Pacific Rail Road where he retired. Retirement did not stop him as he followed in his forefather's footsteps and became an entrepreneur. Working with his good friend W.M. Smith they started a salvage business until their health took a toll. In 1983, Tommy received his calling to the ministry under the leadership of Pastor Campbell in Austin, TX. Tommy loved his Heavenly Father with all his heart and was faithful in his Christian walk. He started a Ministry at Sharpstown Mall for the people who had to work on Sunday. Though he was sick himself, he was dedicated to this ministry and helping anyone he could until God called him home. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters Sa'Brina Seals- Hill (LV), Sharon Seals - Wallace, son Michael Reginald Seals (Brishawnna), 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Gabriel, Gala, Emmanuel, JaMichael, Joy Allison, Tori, and 2 grandsons by Sharon. He also has 3 great-grand children, James, Mikala and Isaiah, One brother, Rev. James McCutcheon Jr., 2 sisters, Gwendolyn McCutcheon and Marva Elaine McCutcheon - Jones, One aunt, Johnnie Mae Dotson, One uncle, Sylvester Lewis (Maudine), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and one dear friend, Patricia Stevens.
