Our dear daughter, sister, aunt, and friend Tracey Lynn Keever of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born in Houston, Texas on December 9, 1965 to Phillip Keever and Laura Blackburn. She attended Cypress Creek High School and knew early on that her passion was to see the beauty in things. She attended cosmetology school and worked at many high end salons in the Houston area. She started her own beauty line, Pure Haute- Hair, Skin, Makeup. She loved her clients and took care of some for more than 30 years. Her love of houses and decor later lead her to became a realtor for Taylor Real Estate Group. Tracey loved to travel and go on adventures with family and friends. She loved learning more about other cultures. Her style and home was full of cherished items that she found on trips. She was a gifted artist and enjoyed spending her free time painting. She had a green thumb and could make yards look magical. Tracey was always on the go and resilient. She never let things get her down and had an electric personality. She recently shared wise words, “Life is a short journey, live it! Collect memories, not things.”
Tracey is survived by her mother Laura Blackburn, siblings Larissa Jones and husband David Jones, Elizabeth Wilson, Kim Carlton, Stephanie Blackburn, and Rick Blackburn, step-mother Mary Louise Keever, and nieces and nephews Jordan, Jarvis, Trenton, Alyssa, Maeve, Chance, Abigail, Clark, and Jenny Belle. Her father Phillip Keever and step-father Buddy Blackburn preceded her in death. Tracey had several aunts, uncles, and cousins that she loved dearly. She made sure to call, visit, and share moments with them often. Tracey was blessed to have met a wonderful man, David Brymer, the last year of her life and created special memories with him.
