Vera Twine

She was born on September 10, 1933, in Houston County Texas, the daughter of the late Jimmie and Minnie Ravnell.

She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Heavenly Star Baptist Church until her health failed her.

Mrs. Twine studied at Mary Allen College in Crockett, TX. She also received her Medical Aide Certification and worked as a loving caretaker for the elderly for most of her life. Her warm smile and unwavering kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Mrs. Twine was preceded in death by husband of 33 years, Bernice Twine, two sons, Clyde Twine and Russell Twine. Four sisters, Juanita Williams, Archie Lavern Thomas, Mary Josephine Johnson and Ola Mae Martinez. Four brothers, Robert Richard, Weldon Richard, Frank Richard and Jimmy Hopkins.

Left to cherish her memories are three daughters, Kervin Rine McFarland, Vera Avery Twine-Love

(Thomas), and Vanessa Jane Anderson (Marvin). One son, Jimmy Floyd Twine (Helen). One sister, Annie Florine Jones. She also leaves many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews and friends who will sadly miss her.
