

Victor Manuel Rodriguez was born on January 14, 1951, in Monterey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; on November 5, 2022, he gained his heavenly wings. Throughout his seventy-one years on this earth, his life was full and exciting as he devoted his career to serving our country.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and was an E7 Sergeant First Class in the United States Army. His "glory days" were spent in special operations attached to the 1st Special Forces Battalion 10th Group, 82nd Airborne division, and as an Army Ranger. Victor took great pride in his military duties. He was involved in several complex operations and completed numerous jumps in the Armed Forces. He served our country during the Vietnam War, Operation Just Cause, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm, to name a few.
After retiring from the United States Army, he also worked as a corrections officer and retired from the Harris County Sheriff's Department.
Victor was preceded in death by Cruz and Maria Lusia Rodriguez, Ralph Hildago, Henry Gustaro Quiroz, and Irma R. Hildago. Victor is survived by his wife, Cecilia Garcia-Rodriguez, and Siblings George Garcia, Irma Trujillo, and Ralph Jr. Hidalgo. His children are Russell Rodriguez, Undrea McCormick, and Julio Rodriguez. His son-in-law, CJ McCormick, daughter-in-law, Ana Rodriguez, Kathy Rodriguez, and grandchildren Deseree and Thomas, Alexis, Breanna, Nathan, Brandon Christopher, Brandon Cole, Alana, Brayden, Micheal, and one great-grandchild, Mila.
