Vic was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who spent more than 50 years working as a courier. He took great pride in his work and built many lasting friendships along the way. Known for his reliability and easygoing nature, Vic was someone people could always count on — whether it was a delivery that had to get there on time or a friend who needed a helping hand.
He loved fishing, camping, and being outdoors, finding peace in the quiet moments by the water. Some of his happiest times were spent cruising with his wife and family, sharing laughter, stories, and plenty of good food. He had a gift for making every trip an adventure and every day a reason to smile.
Vic will be remembered for his big heart, his sense of humor, and the way he always put family first. He found joy in the simple things — a home-cooked meal, a good country song, and the company of those he loved most.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Debbie Mabry; his children Jamie Mabry, Wesley Mabry, David Bennink, Pamela Jackson, and Sandy Kehoe; grandchildren Krista Kehoe, Courtney Kehoe, Braeden Bennink, Aaron Johnston, Rian Bennink, Aiden Johnston, Wyatt Johnston, Ethan Johnston, Hannah Mabry, and Hayes Mabry; and great-grandchild Ivory Kehoe.
Vic’s family will forever cherish his memory and the love he shared with each of them. His legacy of kindness, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Vic’s life at Waltrip Funeral Home, 1415 Campbell Road, Houston, Texas 77055, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to a charity of your choice.
“He’s found calm seas and clear skies, where the fish always bite and the sunsets never end.”
