Victoria was born to Ramon Zepeda and Rita Buentello Zepeda, March 8, 1932, in Coupland, Texas. She married Margarito Celaya on December 12, 1954, and they lived together in Houston, Texas where they raised six children.
She is survived by her children: Mario Celaya & spouse Maria, Phillip Celaya & spouse Linda, Gilbert Celaya & spouse Leda, Michael Celaya & spouse Sylvia, Mary Hinojosa & spouse Andrew Hinojosa and Janet Meisel & spouse Hans Meisel and their families. She had a total of (20) grandchildren and (20) great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two siblings Herminia Hernandez and Otilia Ortiz.
She was preceded in death by Margarito Celaya, husband.
Victoria loved cooking, fishing and the outdoors. She dedicated her time to gardening and provided support to friends and family unconditionally. She remained active with her family and practiced a strong catholic faith.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home Colonial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart 1111 St. Joseph Pkwy., Houston, Texas. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
